You need to always remember that men and women view phone calls, emails and text in very different ways. If you make the mistake of calling too frequently, at the wrong time or before he's ready to hear from you, you can actually turn him off. When should I call him back is one of the most asked questions by women in dating relationships. The rules for calling men can be a bit confusing for any woman. If you're unsure of when to call chances are good that you'll just give in to temptation and call him. That's generally not good at all. If you want to keep his interest at a peak, there are certain guidelines you should be following when it comes to calling him.
The question of when should I call him back can be answered fairly simply. If he called you and you missed the call, wait at least a few minutes to return his call. Don't call him immediately and apologize for missing the call. Wait an hour or so and then call him back. Be calm and be cool when talking to him. This is fairly straightforward and much less confusing than the issue of when to call him if he has yet to call you.
After a date, if he says he'll call you, let that happen. We tend to get a little anxious when we've been on a great date and felt a strong connection with the man. At the end of the date, if he said he'll call and then days pass without a word, don't give up on him just yet. Men often take some time after a date before they call because they just don't want to seem desperate. They also often test a woman to see how long it will be before she calls. Men use this time frame as a way to gauge how interested a woman is. If you call within a couple of days, he's going to label you as desperate so don't do it. If you can find some patience, and wait for him to call you, you'll be glad you did. If he felt that connection, and if wants to pursue things, he'll call.
