Why Do Men Leave Loving Relationships?

Chances are, that's the biggest question on your mind right now...what can possibly cause guys to give up a wonderful thing and break it off with you? 1) Big Reason #1 is equally devastating to both men and women, and will usually cause either to end their relationship: cheating. It used to just be something guys did (or at least that's how it was thought of), but today it's every bit as likely for a woman to cheat on her boyfriend. It makes no sense why anybody would do this, but a lot of people are and it should come as no surprise that it NEVER ends well. It can be recovered from, but it's a tough one to deal with so best solution is just not to cheat.

2) Every man has certain emotional needs out of a relationship, and when he doesn't feel like they're being met oftentimes the relationship will dissolve. This may sound familiar, since the same is true for women but each gender has some differences in just what is needed to be happy in a relationship. One of the most important things to men is a feeling of being admired and trusted...if a man doesn't feel like his woman has faith and confidence in him to take care of her, it's emasculating and can seriously affect his confidence and faith in himself.

3) Another common problem for guys in relationships is when the woman takes too much command in the relationship...when she "wears the pants" so to speak. True, a lot of men find independence and confidence to be very attractive in a woman...but when it stops being a personality strength and becomes an overbearing need for control it tends to smother and emasculate a man. Many guys will be hit by an innate need to flee when a situation arises in which a woman is too bossy or controlling...it's a kind of emotional claustrophobia, and it can really damage a relationship.
