Why I Think True Love Waits

True love is loving someone with everything you have got. Not being afraid of showing that person that you love them and not holding back in any way. True love is also giving someone space to grow room to be free to do something without being afraid of being judged. True love is very rare. Many people search for true love and the sad part is that few of them will ever find it. Some will find it and loose it along the way, while others will continue to search for it in the hope that before they die they will get to experience true love. True love is many things. True love is patient, caring, loving, understanding and above all supportive. True love waits patiently for their mate to make decisions about their lives that are major and they never rush them.

A lot of people are engaging in sexual behavior out of wedlock. It has become something of a common practice for youths all over the world to do this. However, there is still a group of people who believe that they do not have to have sex with someone to prove to them that they love them. Some of them have paid dearly for their belief by being left by the person who they thought really loved them. They leave because they cannot imagine having a relationship with someone who cannot offer them any sexual satisfaction. People who break off relationships because of sex do not really love. What they have cannot even begin to be defined as love. This is because true love waits for the perfect time when you are both ready to take the consequences of sex.

True love waits for you patiently to make a decision. No matter how long the decision making is going to take. Someone who loves you will not rush you to make a decision. They might ask you about it everyday and would want to know if you have made a decision about something but they will never force you to make a decision. Neither will a person who loves you make a decision for you. Remember I said people who love you give you room to be free? They do, they allow you to make a good decision on your own because they know that you are a person who can make their own choices wrong or right and learn from your own mistakes.
