The truth is that you won't succeed in finding a girlfriend without changing yourself. You know the old saying "Just be yourself!", well let me tell you that it is complete crap. Now I'm not advocating cheating and lying about who you really are, this won't serve you good in finding a girlfriend. You need to change who you really are. Don't hope to change and become your best self overnight, it won't happen. If you are looking for a "magic pill" then please stop reading this article. Still here? Good. I'll pin point the essentials behind getting yourself a date. All you need to do is read this article, educate yourself and put in a good amount of effort.

Your appearance counts

I'm not gonna lie and say that a 200lb overweight man is going to be as successful in getting a hot date as your regular Brad Pitt kinda guy. This is frankly not true. Appearance does count. The good news is that you can skyrocket your physical attraction levels by paying a little bit more attention to your body and your outer appearance. This will definitely help you in finding a girlfriend. This doesn't mean calling up a plastic surgeon. If you are overweight, try your best to get in shape. Hit the gym a couple of times and watch what you are eating, that's your best bet with finding a girlfriend. Ask Google for more information on how you can loose a couple of pounds. Bud don't overdo it with the gym. Next make sure you are always properly groomed. This means a sharp haircut (Google is your friend), a clean face (a mix of pimples and neck-beard won't help you in finding a girlfriend) and, I can't believe I have to tell you but, don't forget to shower regularly.

Smell is very important. Women are attracted by smell. Invest in some good fragrance, this alone will make you 100% more attractive. Don't overdo it with the fragrance though, a little goes a long way. Finding a girlfriend will become much more easier if you are properly groomed and looking your best self. Yes, your clothes are very important. More important than you can imagine. It's true, a nice pair of shoes can elevate your chances of finding a girlfriend dramatically. Shoes are only the beginning. Raise your chances of finding a girlfriend by investing in some good clothes. Don't have a clue what to look for? Here is a special tip: fit is everything. Whatever you buy, make sure it fits you properly. A good fit will look great.

In regards to fashion, I can only stress not to overdo it. You are sure to find hundreds of fashion advice threads, if you ask Google. Have a look, get inspired, but do not overdo it. If you are just starting out and have never paid too much attention to your clothes, than I suggest to start out slow, gradually building your wardrobe.

Start out with the basics. Invest in a good pair of brown shoes (brown shoes look good with almost everything and are a safe bet). Also get yourself a good pair of black, regular fit, slacks (get them in brown too). Make absolutely sure they fit you right. Some nice dress shirts are great too, plus regular t-shirts (do not go for douchy graphic tees). Basically keep it simple and expand your wardrobe gradually. Get some advice from Google. A great wardrobe will help you with finding a girlfriend.

Don't be one of those guys who jumps at every resource, downloads the torrent file, reads the resource and does not take any action. The best way to take action is to pressure yourself into it.
