Mrs Associates: are Now Harassing the Debtors!!

MRS Associate (Miranda Recovery Services) is a Collection agency, whose sole purpose is to solve problems related to accounts that are delinquent. Usually, the collection agency tries to solve these problems quickly and efficiently. They consider that they are applying better collection methods to make their purpose successful.

But it is worth knowing, that it is not in the good book of the commoners. Debtors claim that in the process of achieving their purpose they bring false accusation against people. Often people report about receiving threats via email or calls, where the collection agencies even falsely accuse somebody of stealing some others identity.

MRS Associates are also known for harassing people with frequent creditor calls, withdrawing money from anybody’s account without their knowledge. People consider them to be much worse than debt collectors. Debtors are of the opinion that these debt collectors can lie to any extent.

However, in case, when such situations arise, never forget to ask for a debt validation letter. Usually the debt validation letter is a document that is given by the debtor to the collection agency, asking if he really owes the debt.

If at all you are falsely accused by the collection agencies, send them a written request to validate your debt to the collection agency. Certainly send the letter with a Return Receipt Request. The collection agency has to send you the debt validation request within 30 days of receiving your first written notice from the Collection Agency, as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

"Please stand by for an important message", the voice recording says. These people are a bunch of &%#'s. They continue to call me even after I tell them I will not talk to them on the phone and to contact me by mail only. I've started puting them on speaker phone and am recording the calls. They don't seem to like this and just hang up on me now when they hear the echo of my phone.

MRS and its associates are a bunch of underepaid collection want-a-be's. They think that because a phone separates them from you that they can bully you around. I have been dealing wit them for over a year and each time they say they will clear it up on the other end. The other end I speak of is Capital One, I owed on a credit card and I did fall into a hardship so I started work with a debt management company, Capital One sent a confirmation letter to me saying they accepted the terms of this company. Well they still turned it into MRS and I have been harrased ever since. Capital One says they have no record of turning it in to MRS and MRS says that Capital One pays them to call me. I just don't answer the calls anymore and make sure that they get their part of my payment each month from the management company. The law states that I can't be sued as long as Im making payments and they are accepting them. KISS MY A#$ MRS!!

I think these are upset about their own reasons, we cannot blame anyone as these are doing. I had an account with capital one n Mrs were collecting on that, they helped me a lot. they offered me an arrangement to pay, and asked to check over the phone n also took my debit card details, I was told there is no processing fees, I dealt with Rick Paul and as he promised the payments were taken out on the dates we discussed n he asked me to call back after 2 weeks for release of debt letter. I called him n he faxed me n also sent that rod letter through email. I think Rick Paul was the best debt collector i have spoken with. Thank you MRS for helping me

I've been harrassed by this company for at least year. They keep calling my cell phone looking for some loser named Ana Pescano. They refuse to quit calling. I have no idea who Ana Pescano is nor do I personally have any overdue debt. I would have no issues at all with busting their door down and opening up with an assault rifle, if I thought I could get out of it without getting caught. They deserve to die.
