New Teeth Whitening Techniques

It’s always good to visit a dentists every once in a while. Our teeth are important parts of our body and we all know the difference when it comes to choosing between colored teeth and white teeth. Since recent times, new techniques to get our teeth white have risen. These techniques are now more effective and accessible to the common man.
Many of the new teeth whitening techniques include in-office procedures and at-home kits. In-office procedures have advanced to being able to produce higher results with lesser side effects. Long-term smokers with very dark teeth are now able to cleanse their teeth by undergoing a procedure and undergoing that procedure once. Compare this to a few years ago when whitening the same teeth would have required at least three visits to a dentist. Furthermore, the prices between then and now are definitely not the same. One of the most efficient teeth whitening procedures is laser bleaching. Laser bleaching entails using a gel alongside a laser beam to cleanse teeth. The gel used is applied to the tooth or teeth in question and when the laser is directed to it, activation of concentrated teeth whitening chemicals occurs. The process takes anytime from 1-2 hours and it’s relatively inexpensive. Costs range from $600-$1,000 depending on your location and dentist but note that laser bleaching is probably going to be more expensive than any of the other procedures to be mentioned. Nevertheless, in terms of effectiveness it may be regarded as the most effective.
Most dentists offer laser bleaching services alongside custom-tray teeth whitening which is more or less the same thing but this thing the ingredients making up the gel used are far less concentrated. Caring out both procedures in concert can produce very desirable effects but most importantly you should be able to notice effects as soon as you are done with the laser bleaching. Having teeth 2 to 3 shades lighter is not bad should be what you expect.
The Side-effects of laser bleaching are not rampant and are very much limited to teeth sensitivity and the much dreaded white spots. You may also experience slight inconveniences on your gums. These side-effects very much depend on the concentration of chemicals used and the sensitivity of both your teeth and gums. This is one of the reasons to always ensure to have your dentist decide if your gums are more sensitive than usual. To avoid or reduce the possibility of coming up with any side-effects, you should have your dentist use less concentrated gels with the 15 or 16.5% concentration version more preferable to the 18% version. If you do not notice much effect after trying out the less concentrated version, you may opt to use the more concentrated gels.
Another new teeth whitening techniques gaining popularity is the britesmile teeth whitening. This teeth whitening system is very much like laser bleaching. A gel (not the same ingredient in laser bleaching) is applied to the teeth in question and a special light (not laser) is applied to the gel. The cost of caring out this procedure is usually around $600 but may be less. Its generally less expensive when compared to laser bleaching.
In terms of side effects, britesmile and laser bleaching share the same side-effects. A good thing to remember with both side-effects is that they wade off themselves after a while (usually a week or two).
