Stop The Halitosis Breath Embarrassment With These Techniques

No one wants to be called “Halitosis Breath” by family, friends or worse yet, strangers.  Having bad breath on a regular basis can really change the way one is perceived, and negatively affect your career, schooling, or personal life to a large degree.  Also, many who suffer from halitosis (or chronic bad breath) often have self esteem issues that cause them to have a hard time communicating.  This means that a problem that starts out as a tiny one (that of having stinky breath) can quickly escalate to become a life-damaging proposition.

If you want the embarrassment to stop for good, you are going to have to isolate the cause of your dragon breath, and then treat that cause effectively!  First of all, you should know that most people have bad breath that is simply caused by anaerobic bacteria buildup in the back of their mouths.  This can come and go and is usually not an everyday problem for most.  It is easily fixed by stepping up your brushing to include post-meal oral hygiene routines, or by drinking water, eating vegetables, and avoiding stinky foods like onions.

However, for others, the problem is more serious and could be affected by a number of possible causes.  For instance, those who have never had their tonsils removed could find that their breath is worse, especially if they also have an issue with post nasal drip.  Post nasal drip causes mucus to fall from nasal cavities to the back of the throat or the back of the tongue, which causes the bacteria that brings bad breath to grow at an accelerated rate.  This, in turn, makes your breath nasty, so treating this issue is important!  Tonsils are an enemy in this case because they also trap bacteria, and it is not as if it is simple to clean your tonsils!
