One of the differences among products has to do with the concentration of the peroxide. So, using that as a starting point, you might want to compare the strengths of various products versus the costs.
Sometimes a fluoride type additive is included. For some people this helps with sensitivity, and some people attribute a strength-adding factor as well. So, if that sounds like something you might want or need you should look for that addition.
Another area you can compare is the tray used to apply the bleaching agent. Some of the trays you create yourself with the instructions in the kit. Others require you have a dentist produce them. Obviously, the second choice is going to cost more. But it might be worth it if you are the sort of person who would feel uncomfortable going through the process to make the trays.
Get online and start looking around at some of the forums, typing in a search term similar to “teeth whitening forums”. Once you find a few and start reading, you will be able to tell who seems authentic in their information and who is just trying to promote some product. Just jump in and ask what everyone recommends and you will probably have a lot of answers to consider.
