The Oral B 9400 - A Triumph among Oral B Toothbrushes

Posted: Dec 14, 2009 |Comments: 0 |

The Oral B Triumph Professional Care 9400 also known as the Oral B 9400, is the younger sibling to the Oral B Triumph 9900 toothbrush with Smart Guide, without the wireless LCD screen and a bit cheaper. It does have an LCD screen, just its on the side of the brush and it doesn't come with my personal favorite feature, the pressure sensor.

Even though it lacks the pressure sensor, the performance of the toothbrush alone makes it worth the purchase. Just picture the effective cleaning of the 9900 electric toothbrush alone without the Oral B triumph smart guide.

Oral B Triumph 9400 Features:

  • Advanced Floss Action Brush head that incorporates the Oral B MicroPulse bristles
  • Smart Technology is added to give the user feedback of each brushing session as it displays the Brush time, battery charge level, and when to change the brush head
  • 3 Brushing modes: Clean, Sensitive, and Polish
  • Easy Cleaning: the base station is dishwasher safe
  • Easy Traveling: the SmartPlug Charger is suitable for multiple variations of voltages and the electric toothbrush itself can be stored easily

My Personal Experience with the Oral B Triumph Professional Care 9400:

I'm so used to using the Oral B Triumph 9900 toothbrush with Smart Guide that using the Oral B 9400 was an effortless transition. Since this toothbrush is almost identical to the Triumph 9900, you know what to expect in terms of cleaning and plaque removal, and I wasn't disappointed.

The fact that I could barely notice the transition between the toothbrushes should have already tipped you off that this toothbrush is top notch. Especially since the 9900 is my highest rated toothbrush.

While using the Oral B 9400 toothbrush, I could definitely feel the 40,000 plus pulsations per minute effectively sweeping away plaque and getting my teeth clean. The LCD screen on the side of the brush is a no-no in my opinion, as it is the opinion of many electric toothbrush users. You can't effectively use what you can't see, and with the LCD screen on the side of the brush, you can't see anything while you're brushing.
