There are some destinations emerging amongst the favourite places for British tourists to visit this year. Many people are choosing to leave the booking of their holiday until the last minute to try and find some good deals and this is helping the lesser visited countries outside the eurozone.
Despite the usual suspects such as Spain and Portugal being the most visited, there are a new set of countries that are appealing to British tourists. Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Croatia have all seen rapid increases in the number of tourists visiting this year with Croatia seeing a 150% increase.
Holidaymakers are looking for holidays where they can minimise their spending and these countries who do not currently use the euro can offer tourists a cheaper holiday. Even though prices are lower, the standard of accommodation and facilities are not as these countries heavily rely on tourism to help the economy.
Croatia has benefited the most from tourists waiting until the last minute and people are taking advantage of the great deals on all inclusive holidays that are available. Croatia has a lot to offer any tourist travelling there and they will not be left disappointed. With 7 world heritage sites there and 8 national parks, there is plenty of culture to take in and allows all visitors to get a feel for Croatian culture.
Turkey is another country that has plenty to offer all visitors. Turkey is geographically positioned between two continents (Europe and Asia) and as such gives the country a unique feel. Despite 99% of the country being Muslim, Turkey is a secular state and has introduced many Western ideas and this mix comes out in its culture. Countries like Turkey and Croatia have made finding cheap holidays easier for British tourists looking to escape the doom and gloom of the British summer and experience a different kind of holiday.
Finding cheap holidays just became easier with the likes of Turkey and Croatia offering great deals on all inclusive holidays . Customers looking for the best deals on holidays should consider alternate destinations to save money.
