Andean Tours in Peru

Everybody knows that Paddington Bear came to England from Peru. This description of its motherland arises from the thick, brooding forests covering big territory of the country but that is only component of what makes vacations to Peru so extraordinary.

There are the powerful Andes Mountains ascending out of the green blanket of jungle and rivers, particularly the unrivaled Amazon, which for many centuries were a single way into the center of the country. As though the spectacular panorama alone were not sufficient to make Peru vacations the most memorable you might ever experience there is more. There is the history and romance of the country. The Spanish Conquistadores and the Incas have left us the fascinating relics to remind about their dramatic stories.

When hiking is your hobby you may go trekking in Peru and follow old walks to the Incas’s Sacred Valley and attend Machu Picchu, the Incas’s lost city that sits on a tall saddle between two higher peaks in the Cuzco’s mountains. Here you start to get some thought of the powerful Incas empire and the highly developed civilization they made so long ago.
The ruins that you look at today in wonder and awe lay hidden from the outsiders’ eyes for centuries prior to being rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, an archaeologist from University of Yale.

A visit to Machu Picchu, for example, may be combined with tours of the Imperial Inca capital of Cuzco, the fabulous Sacred Valley of the Incas or the nearby Inca Trail; a visit to Lake Titicaca can be complemented by a visit to the lovely southern colonial city of Arequipa and the nearby Colca Canyon, while a flight over the Nazca Lines is easily combined with a boat trip to the fauna-packed Ballestas Islands. The abundance of the wonderful Peru tourist attractions offers an endless variety of custom vacation packages to fit the needs of every traveler.
