Rajasthan the land of "brave kings" or "the land of rajput", is the largest state of India by area. It is located in the northwest of India. It covers most of the area of the large, inhospitable huge Indian Thar Desert, which has a border paralleling the Sutlej-Indus river valley along its border with Pakistan. Rajasthan covers an area of 342,269 square kilometers of India.

Jaipur is the capital and the largest city of the state. Rajasthan has one of the world's older mountain ranges, the Aravalli Range, cradles the only hill station of Rajasthan.  Mount Abu is widely famous for Dilwara Temples, a holy pilgrimage for Jains. Rajasthan is gifted with natural good looks, a great history, superb forts & palaces, colourful festivals & fairs, lively culture, diverse landscape and broad forests will never disappoint you.

Climate Of Rajasthan: -   Crossing an area of 3,42,000 Sq Km, it's huge size and latitudinal difference have provided Rajasthan with diverse climate. The type of weather in Rajasthan changes with the seasons of the year. There are four seasons in Rajasthan – summer, monsoon, post-monsoon and winter.


Summer – April to June
Monsoon – Late June to September
Post-monsoon – October to November
Winter – December to March

Apart from summer the supernatural land of Rajasthan can be visited any time through the year. But the most excellent time to visit Rajasthan is throughout the month of winter when the weather of Rajasthan is very beautiful and pleasant.

Culture of Rajasthan :-

Rajasthan is famous for its rich culture and tradition which shine the heritage and royal Indian way of life. There is a rich and varied folk culture from villages which is often depicted representative of the state.

Folk Dance and Music of Rajasthan: - The Kalbeliya dance (Jaisalmer) and the Ghoomar dance (Udaipur) have gained worldwide approval. Folk music is a vital part of Rajasthan culture. Kathputali, Bhopa, Chang, Teratali, Ghindar, Kachchhighori, Tejaji, etc. Are the examples of the traditional Rajasthani culture.

Arts and crafts :- The tie & die textile, carved wooden furniture with stunning motifs, block print textiles, hand knotted carpets & durries, beautiful blue pottery, exquisite mojaris & jutis,Bandhej saris & kurtis, zari & embroidered saris & garments  are popular art forms of Rajasthan.

Dress :- Ghaghra or Lehanga choli, is popular costume of women in Rajasthan. Rajasthani man love to tie colorful pagri on their head.

Rajasthan Cuisine :- Rajasthani food is the mixture of dal, bati and churma but there is a broad variety to choose from in Rajasthani cuisine during your Rajasthan holidays. The bati, lachhedar paratha and besan ki missi puri are types of bread peculiar to Rajasthan.
