Ocean Edge holiday park has its own indoor entertainment complex offering a superb family cabaret lounge, over 18s bar and amusement arcade as well as a family beer garden, café, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna.
Marina holiday park has a newly refurbished owners lounge bar, an active bowling club, golf society and an indoor swimming pool.
Hawthorne holiday park features a small bar in the heart of the park which retains a village pub atmosphere and in the immediate area you can enjoy a range of activities including golf, fishing, horse riding, swimming and much more.
When you have decided which park is right for you, the next step is to choose your seaside holiday home. South Lakeland Parks have a wide range of seaside holiday homes available including holiday caravans and holiday lodges to suit all tastes, needs and budgets. To really experience these seaside holiday homes you should book a “try before you buy” break where you will not only be able to get a feel for the available seaside holiday homes, but also get a feel for the park.
Running costs include rates, metered electric and metered or bottled gas, but South Lakeland Parks do have a subletting scheme whereby you can hire out your seaside holiday home when you are not using it to help cover these costs.
Lastly, you need to find out what plot locations are available and suitable for your needs. Different areas of the park may have different things on offer such as being close to the outdoor children's play area if you are holidaying with the kids or being close to facilities such as the restaurant or bar.
