Choosing The Right Hilton Head Vacation Rental

When it comes to choosing the right Hilton Head vacation rental, the good news is that you have many options to choose from. This area is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country, noted for its beautiful beaches, famous golf resorts and courses, and some of the most beautiful semi tropical scenery anywhere in the world. This article will provide some information about some of the most popular areas of this unique destination.

One of the most scenic areas of Hilton Head is Folly Field. Many relaxing bike trails, golf resorts, beautiful beaches, and an abundance of wildlife can all be found here. Folly Field s the perfect spot for couples searching for a private Hilton Head vacation rental, and since there are so many activities and shopping and dining opportunities nearby, it is a popular lodging spot for families as well. Folly Field is also home to several parks, and public accessible beaches.

Serious golfing fans will want to consider staying in Palmetto Palms, home to the George Fazio course, which has been consistently been ranked among the top 100 in America by Golf Digest. Other courses close by include the Robert Trent Jones Course, and The Ron Laver Tennis Center. There are also music festivals, fine dining opportunities, and many other activities for the entire family.

Located at the southern tip of Hilton Head is the appropriately named South Beach, close to the famous Harbour Town Light House and the marina. The Harbour Town Golf Links course is also located nearby. South Beach is generally heavily populated during the peak tourst season, so it makes sense to reserve your rental, be it a hotel room, apartment, cottage, or other accommodations, earlier rather than later. This caveat is true for rentals in any other area of the island as well.

Wherever you stay on Hilton Head, youll be surrounded by tropical beauty and no shortage of things to do. Many unique festivals and tournaments are held in the area, including the Harbour Fest, which runs every Tuesday night from June fifth to August twenty first, and features live entertainment and fireworks at sunset. A special Harbour Fest is also held on July fourth. There are many other festivals held yearly, particularly during the peak summer months. Nature lovers will find an abundance of wildlife, as well, including alligators, deer, Loggerhead sea turtles, and dolphins, all located near the best Hilton Head vacation rentals.
