Equipment for the Khao Sok Rainforest
While going on jungle treks in Khao Sok which is the oldest and most diverse rainforest in the world is an great adventure, its a good idea to come prepared, you can also get some supplies and gear while your there, but why not be prepared to begin with.

Decent Footwear - It is not a good idea to go through the Khao Sok rainforest with flip flops or with high heels, bring something to wear that will be confortable and has a decent grip, especially in the wet season.
Swimming custumes - As there is many nice places to swim, its would be a good idea to bring something a long that you can swim in, I mean if your in a group, its no fun watching other people having a great time swimming while your sitting and doing nothing.
Change of clothes - Its always better to bring a few more items of clothing while in Khao Sok as it can rain and get muddy at times, especially if your only around for a day trip its better to leave with nice clean dry clothes.
Torch - Great for night safari's and also just walking around at night as power cuts can but rarely happen.
Binoculars - Great and very useful for spotting some of the rare animals and birds in the rainforest, you can also get a closer look higher up at the limestone mountains, definitely a great tool to bring.
Waterproof bad - Its a good idea to bing something that will protect some of your small electrial devices like cameras, camcorders etc.Just incase it does rain.
Mosquito Spray - There is not many mosquitos in the Khao Sok jungle, but it only takes 1 or 2 to bug you, so bring some along just to be safe.
Sunscreen and hat - As you may be trekking for many hours or swimming in he Khao Sok river, its a good idea to bring some sun protectiong along.
