Festivals in Phnom Penh – An Authentic Aesthetic Experience

Dubbed the Paris of the East during the colonial periods, Phnom Penh toady is becoming a quite popular tourist destination among those who seek to explore and enjoy a tranquil environment and a peaceful aesthetic setting. The Royal Ploughing ceremony also known as the Bonn Chroat Preah Nongkoal is held in May every year. The ceremony marks the first of the agrarian events and is celebrated with much anticipation.

Visitors could similarly expect nationwide celebrations during the New Year and other celebrations such as the Full Moon Festival which are celebrated in concurrence with the Water Festival.
