Flights - Viva Prague!

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic, and is one of the prime tourist destinations of Eastern Europe. With a range of tourist attractions and a wide range of eateries, the city has become a popular destination for shoppers and stag parties alike.

You may recognise the city already from the films you have seen in the cinema. Indeed, Prague has acted as the backdrop to many a movie, including Mission Impossible and Blade II. With cheap flights to Eastern Europe becoming more commonplace in the world of travel, Prague has seen an increase in tourist numbers in recent times.

And while most are attracted by the price of the local beer – making it a haven for stag and hen holidays – many take trips to take in the sights and sounds of a bustling city that is steeped in history. Prague Castle is one of the major tourist attractions in the city, and many tourists to the city will take the time to stroll around the largest ancient castle in the world and to take in the splendour and tradition of the local area.

Many who visit the city come to experience the arts, and with a number of theatres and galleries dotted around the ancient city, many take advantage of flights to Prague in order to take in a performance, ranging from opera to orchestras.

Prague boasts a rich cultural history, with a number of festivals throughout the year celebrating everything from music to movies. If you’re looking to get away for a city break, Prague is one of the most popular cities for those looking to get away for a short break – either for a romantic weekend or a cultural break.

Flights from the UK are now more widely available, and with the Czech Republic soon to join the EU, many more are predicted to take the time to relax in the Golden City.
