However, you will see that Arkansas offers a large amount of fun things to do that may not require you to spend plenty of cash. Some activities are even free. Arkansas is the spot for you to go on the best recession proof vacation. Here, you will be able to get that much required rest and fun and you will also avoid spending a large amount of money.

So, what are the fun things that you are going to be ready to do in Arkansas?

For starters, you have to remember that Arkansas is home to forests, mountains and other natural areas. In this state, you will find plenty of exciting and engaging places to visit as well as things to do. There are also large numbers of significant sites and museums that will certainly interest you and your entire family or mates going with you on your vacation.

Here are some of the places that you must definitely visit while you are on vacation in Arkansas.

The first is in Fayetteville. Here, you will have a reenactment of the Battle of Fayetteville. This famous Yankee Civil War battle took place in the area and is reenacted by the locals living here each year. If you are lucky enough, you may even participate in a little part in the battle.

Another great event in Fayetteville is the Bikes, Blues and Barbeque. This event is a very large annual motorcycle rally that takes place around Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Here, you will find plenty of good things to do as well as things to see. If you adore choppers or bikes, then this place is the spot for you.

In Mountain View, you must definitely visit the Blanchard Springs Caverns. This 3 level cavern system has led tours where you will be ready to explore the cavern system. Administered by the US Forest Service, you may be sure that you will be in a position to learn much during your visit here.
