Get a Room in Las Vegas and Save!

Greetings travelers! My name is Jeff and I’ll be providing you with information on this week’s feature destination. We now venture to Sin City - a true mecca for shopping, dining, gambling and entertainment. Attractions abound, lights shine brightly all throughout, and savings are yours for the taking in some of the finest hotels to grace the Las Vegas Strip.

At the very heart of the Strip you’ll find Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. What’s especially neat about this place is that each of its stylish rooms and suites feature actual memorabilia from renowned Hollywood films. It’s hard not to lose count of the many places where you can enjoy a delectable meal; you’ll have eight restaurants to choose from, including the famous Koi. While you’re there, feel free to rejuvenate your senses in the European spa or burn some calories in the fitness center.

Another great hotel I found was the Sahara Hotel and Casino. It is conveniently located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, with its own monorail station just one stop from the Las Vegas Convention Center. With two state-of-the-art theaters, the popular NASCAR Café (which features an arcade and roller coaster), and more than 85,000 square feet of gaming space, you’ll never run out of things to do.

If you yearn to experience Las Vegas to the fullest, the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower is definitely worth checking out. It is within minutes of downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience, and fewer than five miles from McCarren International Airport - a great benefit for time-pressed travelers such as myself! The 113-story Stratosphere Tower is the tallest observation tower in the U.S., so it’s no surprise that it offers panoramic views of the Strip and surrounding mountains. Whether it’s chic bars, fine restaurants, or heart-pounding rides that tickle your fancy, the property has something for everyone.

Sometimes I just want to escape from my daily worries and indulge in all the dining, shopping and entertainment I can get! The Tropicana Las Vegas, situated at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, couldn’t be any more accommodating. A landmark since its inception in 1957, the property boasts three world renowned swimming pools, three outdoor spas, and more than 1,800 hotel rooms you can choose from to relax the night away.

Moreover, I had heard that Terrible’s Hotel and Casino was considered a favorite among locals and visitors, so I decided to see it for myself. Indeed, this property is a welcome haven for vacationers looking to savor Nevada’s warm and sunny atmosphere. It couples comfortable, well-appointed guest rooms with first-rate amenities such as a swimming pool surrounded by lush landscaping, a 24 hour fitness center, and a relaxing lounge.
