Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Colorado - A Great Vacation and Travel Destination

Glenwood Caverns is a beautiful historical area to visit and fun for the entire family. This is a mountain top adventure that includes a guided tour of the Glenwood Cavern and Historic Fairy Cave. You will also enjoy the only alpine coaster in Colorado as well as an amazing giant swing, 4D theater, bungee tramp, gondola, amazing scenery, and of course, great restaurants! The Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is an amazing place for families to visit as well as other large groups of individuals. Consider having a birthday party, family reunion, or work retreat at the Caverns for a wonderful day of fun and excitement for all.

Glenwood Caverns is located in Glenwood Springs and the park is open from Thursday through Sunday 10 am through 5pm. Keep in mind the last tram ride to the top is one hour before the park closes so be sure to plan accordingly. The restaurant and gift shop is open during park hours and the lookout grille as well as the general store are located at the top of the mountain. If you are interested in taking a cave tour the hours are 10 am through 3:30 pm. The walking cave tour takes about 70 minutes to complete and there are 127 steps to take up and 127 steps to take down. There are handrails if necessary.


There is also a Wild Tour that has a minimum of 4 people and takes place only by reservation on Saturdays at 10:30am. The Adventure Tour is also by reservation only with a 4 person minimum and is available on several days.

If you really want an experience take advantage of the Wild and Adventure Cave Tours by appoint. Be sure to call about guide availability in advance. Ticket prices depend on what adventures you want to take advantage of. Price for park entrance is $12 for adults and 10% off for military and seniors. The park entrance and cave tour is $22 each, the adventure tour is $30 each, and the wild tour is $60 each with a minimum age of 13.

Some of the most popular attractions include the bungee trampoline, the swing shot, the canyon flyer, the cave tour and the adventure tour.
