Holiday homes in England have become a very popular form of accommodation for holiday makers. In England holiday cottages are available to rent from their owners and these country cottages offer splendid accommodate at very reasonable prices.

In London there are many art galleries, theatres, museums and many world famous shops. Many people come on vacation to London and stay in self catering apartments. This enables them to explore the local tourist attractions and eat out in the vast array of restaurants in London. Many spend a week in a London apartment experiencing all that the capital has to offer. They may then rent a delightful country cottage in Devon or Cornwall.

Devon is an extremely popular tourist attraction, with beautiful clean beaches and excellent surf. For those not wanting to stay in holiday cottages they can now rent self catering apartments. It is a great way to explore the local countryside or simply just relax on the beach.

Further down the west coast is Blackpool offering good value apartments for rental. Here you can experience the illuminations and take home your loved one a stick of famous Blackpool rock.

If it is architecture and history that you are looking for you can visit Oxford and Cambridge. These famous university towns are well worth a visit and have many holiday homes and cottages available for rental.
Many Americans come on vacation to England and are amazed by the local architecture and stunning scenery.

Golfing holidays are now extremely popular in England and many groups of golfers prefer to rent a holiday home or holiday cottage than staying in a hotel. As well as golfing, the golfers like to try out the local ales in the country pubs.

The summers in England can be warm and inviting and many holiday makers like to take their vacations down on the south coast. Here they can play on the clean white sandy beaches and swim in the clean sea. Sea food is plentiful and many foreign tourists like to try a plate of traditional fish and chips. When on holiday in the south coast, many tourists stay in holiday apartments or holiday cottages.

Fishing is another popular tourist pastime in England and many of the fast flowing rivers are home to trout and salmon. There is nothing better than catching your first salmon and then taking it back to your holiday home to cook and eat for your evening meal.
