Holidaying In The British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands are located in the Caribbean to the east of the Puerto Rico. This place is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. The British Virgin Islands mainly consist of the islands of Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke. Additionally this place consists of 50 other smaller islands and cays. The biggest island of British Virgin Islands is Tortola. This island is around 20 kilometres long and around 5 kilometres wide. The islands have the total population of 22,000 of whom around 18,000 live on Tortola.

The capital of the British Virgin Islands is Road Town that is situated on Tortola itself. The best part of these islands is that all the islands are situated in the distance of some miles from each other. This gives great holidaying pleasure to the tourists to explore different places in shorter span of time. In the north of British Virgin Islands there is the North Atlantic Ocean and the southern boundaries of this place touch the Caribbean Sea. This is an ideal place where you explore volcanic mountains and sea at the same point of time.

The British Virgin Islands are truly a tourist's paradise. This place is famous for its great hospitality and leisure activities. You can have an experience of several mind blowing things.
