Home of the Brauhaus and WaldschlosschenDresden is the capital of the German federal state of Saxony. It is located on the River Elbe. It is an industrial, governmental, and cultural centre and located in what once was called Valley of the Clueless. The city has rebuilt itself on a grand scale following the bombings of World War Two.
