Having the objective of making Hong Kong a more preferred and visited travel destination during the summer, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) organizes “Hong Kong Summer Temptations” from July to September with a better exposure to endless fun and excitement. It is a different travel experience for tourists to spend the summer vacation that goes beyond just dinning and shopping in the ordinary routine.

The most significant feature of the event is the “Stamp Rally” in which the visitors would be invited to explore 18 main attractions in the region and collect their corresponding stamps. Those who get three stamps on their way will gain a gift package. The main partner of the HKTB is the MTR corporation during the season and visitors who purchase any product of MTR corporation will gain a free MTR Summer Temptations Tourist Guide for better and easy exploration in Hong Kong.

To mention about another feature of the program, the “Visa ‘Million Dollar Lucky Draw” is also an additional incentive for the residents and visitors to spend their money in an advantageous way during the summer sale period. During the event period, for every 500 Hong Kong dollars that would be paid by Visa card holders will be eligible to enter the lucky draw that offers prizes of total value of 1.2 million Hong Kong dollars.

Moreover during the Olympic Equestrian Events from 25th of July to 24th of August, it has been scheduled to set up a Hong Kong Olympic Piazza, which will be broadcasting Beijing Olympic events at Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Up to now 12 major shopping malls with some other restaurants have decided to make their full contribution in Hong Kong Summer Temptations which is scheduled to be held from 1st July to 21st September. They will also be organizing special entertainment shows and exhibitions that would coincide with Olympic Games which will create an absolutely exciting entertainment environment.

Meanwhile people can find some of the world’s best hospitality facilities in leading Hong Kong hotels in order to be guaranteed satisfying accommodation during their summer season. Prominent hotels such as Cosmopolitan Hotel in the region will provide a convenient accommodation during the Hong Kong Summer Temptations.
