Let’s go to the Kingdom of fairy tale

Denmark is a country located in Scandinavia. The main part of it is Jutland, which is a peninsula in the north of Germany. There it is the seat of Viking raiders, and later it becomes a major power of north Europe. Denmark evolves into a modern and prosperous nation after it participates in the general political and economic integration of Europe. However, the country is out of European Union's Maastricht Treaty and the European monetary system.

‘Kingdom of fairy tale’, which is best known by people in the world, is another name of Denmark. Andersen was born in Odense in 1805. Denmark is one of the oldest countries in the world. Together with its national flag, Denmark has one thousand histories. There are so many battles in its history. In this ancient country, it is Andersen who writes so many excellent fairy tales that makes Denmark connected with the world tightly. With its long and glorious history, ancient and silk-stocking buildings, Denmark is known all over the world. Almost everyone spent a childhood with ?Sea Daughter?and ?The Little Match-Girl?.In nowadays, the Mermaid bronze which seats in Copenhagen becomes the mark of Denmark.

Denmark is also the birthplace of one of the world's most popular toys - Lego. There is no other better place in the world where one can buy Lego bricks than at the Legoland theme park in Billund, which is a small town in the east coast of Jutland. Legoland is about 25 hectares and it was built in 1968. There are about one million tourists coming to visit every year. It is just like a mini-world which is made up by about 42 million toy bricks. Legoland is the second largest touristy city of Denmark that all owes to its toy bricks, just inferior to Copenhagen.
