Napa Valley Wine Country Tour - An Overview

Itinerary

Ferry building:
San Francisco Ferry Building is located on the Embarcadero, where Market Street ends. This building was built in 1898 as the city’s transportation center. It is one of the city’s premiere stops for foodies.

Golden Gate Bridge:
It has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California. When it was opened on 1937, it was the largest and highest suspension bridge in the world. Bridge has a total length of 9000 ft or 3 km.

Domain Chandon:
Domain Chandon is known for their sparkling wine. These include Brut Classic, Blanc De Noirs and Riche. They also make the Reserve Brut, Reserve Blanc de Noirs, Etoile, Etoile Rose and Mount Veeder Vintage. Main goal of Domaine Chandon was to make sparkling wines on their own merit without stealing the name of a completely different region. Domain Chandon has a beautiful winery and restaurant located in the west hills of Yountville.

V.Sattui:
If you’re a red wine lover, you won’t be disappointed. You can taste Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Sangiovese and Gamay.  Famous white wines are Johannisberg Riesling, Chardonnay, Semillon and Muscat. The Winery offers free tastings, poured by knowledgeable and friendly staff that helps you find your wine. If you are planning a trip to Napa, this winery should be at the top of your "must see" list.

Flora Springs:
Flora Springs Vineyards have expanded from 60 to 650 acres in eight separate terroirs, 1000-lineal feet of caves dug into the Rutherford hillside. Famous red wines are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. White wines include Cuvee Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Andretti Winery:
Andretti Winery was founded in 1996. Founder of Andretti winery is Mario Andretti and Joe. E. Antonioni. Famous varietals are Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir.
