Roadtrip Coromandel Peninsula

One of the best road trip for your diary or blog is a roadtrip at Coromandel peninsula in New Zealand's North Island. Just one and a half hour drive from Auckland International Airport.

Coromandel offers you and your vehicle buddy stunning white sandy beaches, sights, and activities. Its beaches can always delight you for a swim, a kayak, a surf, a dive, some fishing or just a lazy walk around. Its sights offers never ending angles for your cameras. Things to do aside from water activities are bush walking, motorcycling, hiking, camping, train rides, golfing, or just park your motorhome somewhere to give you sunset and relax on your outside table.

The Hideaway at Flaxmill Bay is one of the candidates among campgrounds for campers. Powered sites start from $35 - $50 not probably as cheap as the other parks but the place is hard to leave.  Hideaway at Flaxmill Bay is located at the Cooks Beach end of scenic Flaxmill Bay, directly opposite Shakespeare Cliff and a short nature walk to Lonely Bay. The Hot Water Beach is one of the destination of Coromandel, if you intend to find a park closer to Hot Water Beach, it must be the Hot Water Beach Holiday Park only opened its doors in 2008 and has been earning a reputation. The park is located 5 minutes from the Beach and powered sites for motorhome starts at $18-$20. The numbers are 07 866 3116.

The scenes in Coromandel are among the best of North Island. Its attractions are worth to be revisited and the friendliness just makes the holiday lighter. The Coromandel town is the art centre of the Peninsula. Other places to check out are the Coromandel Town , Corville and the Northern Coast, and the 309 Road & Waiau Stream that keeps the the Waiau Falls.
