The day, 17th February 1988 marked the beginning of Safari World, with about 480 acre land dedicated for the open zoo and another 180 acre land for the Bird Park. Nestled in the hub of Marine Park is the latest attraction of Safari World – the Eggs World, launched in May 2007. Here you can discover and learn a world of things about eggs. There is knowledge on incubation and cutting edge equipments used for the purpose, exhibits of egg-laying animals ranging from crocodiles to turtles and birds, surprising facts about eggs besides witnessing how the staff hand-feed baby birds. The Eggs World is an ideal place of learning and entertainment for school children as well as bird enthusiasts.
Safari World is an educational hub for kids and adults alike. You can also find a host of other services including a fine restaurant, an information desk, parking facilities and coach services at the premises.
