Renowned as the best open zoo and leisure park in Thailand, Safari World can be accessed via the Ram Inthra Road in Bangkok. The resort is an ensemble of the Safari Park and the Marine Park.
The day, 17th February 1988 marked the beginning of Safari World, with about 480 acre land dedicated for the open zoo and another 180 acre land for the Bird Park. After a significant facelift on 17th April 1989, the site was transformed into an amazing leisure park boosted with the new addition of its 200 acre Marine Park.
Safari Park features an exclusive safari across a natural habitat of diverse animal species found in the African wilderness. It takes about a 45minute ride to cover the 8km stretch, from the comfort of your own car or Safari World’s luxury coach, while exploring and absorbing this stunning wildlife habitat. What’s more, you can capture the most dramatic tiger and lion feeding shows, exclusively at the Safari Park.
Marine Park features interesting thematic adventures in addition to 8 world-class shows. One of its key highlights is the Jungle Cruise River Ride where you can experience a bout of surprises and nonstop thrill with its lifelike animatronics enhanced with special effects. They also host a variety of shows ranging from exciting water skiing to interesting Orangutan boxing, spectacular Dolphin shows over and above spine-chilling Hollywood Cowboy stunts.
The Marine Park also houses an extensive array of exhibits and galleries such as Macaw Island, the Rainforest Aviary, Tapir Kingdom, Game Town, Crocodile Garden, Adventure Island and Carp Garden in addition to the habitats of white tigers and sea lions.
Nestled in the hub of Marine Park is the latest attraction of Safari World – the Eggs World, launched in May 2007. Here you can discover and learn a world of things about eggs. There is knowledge on incubation and cutting edge equipments used for the purpose, exhibits of egg-laying animals ranging from crocodiles to turtles and birds, surprising facts about eggs besides witnessing how the staff hand-feed baby birds. The Eggs World is an ideal place of learning and entertainment for school children as well as bird enthusiasts.
Safari World is an educational hub for kids and adults alike. You can also find a host of other services including a fine restaurant, an information desk, parking facilities and coach services at the premises.
To explore this wonderful resort without missing a single attraction, you can reserve one of the classy Bangkok serviced apartments or a comfortable Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel and relish a plethora of services and delectable cuisines.
