Being an island, water sports feature heavily with water parks and underwater worlds for snorkelling or diving. Windsurfing and sailing can be enjoyed all the year round, because of the steady winds and calm and deep-water fishing is also popular.
The culture of Cyprus is diverse: it is dominated by Western Europe, but it is geographically close to Asia and Africa.
