The City of Legends and TraditionsIoannina is a city of Epirus, north-western Greece, in the region of Ioannina it is dominated by robust, fragrant pine trees, many of which grow within the city itself, especially around the old castle, or fortress walls. It is also called the city of legends and traditions. It has become a busy commercial centre for all of north western Greece. The Ioaninna is a mountainous region on the north west tip of the country and a part of the Pindos mountain range.
