Exciting, inviting, thrilling, beautiful and picturesque are some of the adjectives that one can use to describe the Beaches in Goa. Goan beaches are filled with an excitement of its own kind as one can find quaint little beach shacks that serve beer and Goan cuisine at the same place.

There are a number of Goa Holiday packages and they can be categorized in a hierarchy as per each one’s preference but in general are given below a list of 6 top beaches in Goa,

Candolim Beach

This is the place to be for every tourist as it is not too crowded, have complete tastes of Goan cuisine and little apartments to stay in. This place is also the birth place of Abbe Faria, who was a Goan Freedom Fighter.

Sinquerim Beach

Filled with clean white sand and having the historical asset of Fort Aguada, this place is another one in the list of the top beaches in Goa. This place is for the ones looking to savor some Portuguese architecture and style.One can travel easily from this beach to the Candolim beach and further to Baga beach.There are ample shacks here where one can quench the thirst for some chilled Goan beer.

Baga Beach

Baga is a perfect beach for the fishing lovers, with lots of palms grove this is a small paradise. This is really an extension of Calangute beach, which is a crowded street and the water here is safe for swimmers and also have exciting water sports here.

A Saturday night flea market is the place to shop for handlooms and artifacts alongside the road leading to the beach.

Bambolim Beach

It is situated at the mouth of river Zuari and has a narrow access to the small clean and exciting beach. The floor of this beach is full of broken shells, broken pearls and lot other variety of shells and hence is the place to be for shell collectors.

Bambolim provides a perfect spot for a quiet and cozy picnic. One can also enjoy the Beach restaurant for that wonderful Goan cuisine.

Arambol Beach

This beach is situated near the Arambol village and is well known for its rocky and sandy terrains. This used to be a favorite sport for the Rave party freaks and other wild parties. This beach is safe for swimming and one can find himself swimming with starfishes in the water.

Travelers looking for some fun in terms of paragliding, motor boat trips and dolphin shows come here to fulfill the temptations.

Benaulim Beach

Benaulim beach is known to be the place where arrow of Lord Parsurama landed when he created Goa. Earlier known by the name of Banali, it got its new name from the Portuguese and the main attraction here is the dolphin cruises.

Lovers of Gaon architecture can find the church of St. John Baptist as a place to be in. This church is situated on a hill and has a beautiful view. A local celebration for thanksgiving is held here by the name of Sao Joa. Goa Holidays.
