What to Do on Your Vacation to France

France is the most visited country in the world. From outdoor activities to great historic monuments, your time spent in France won't be boring. The first place you want to visit is the Eiffel Tower; you will experience spectacular views of Paris from atop it. You can return to the Eiffel Tower at night and enjoy a bottle of Merlot with your companion. When the Eiffel Tower was first built, it faced lots of criticism from both the public and government. Its critic have been silenced, there have been 2 million visitors to the Eiffel tower since 1889.

If you love art then it will behoove you to visit the Louvre, The most visited art museum in the world. The Louvre showcases nearly 35,000 objects from 6th millennium BC, and pieces from the 19th century AD. When i visited this museum 3 years ago, what excited me the most was the Egyptian Antiques display. This department is comprised of over 50,000 unique artifacts from the Nile Civilizations. The collection is guarded by a Large Sphinx and it is housed in more than 20 different rooms.

Now if you like outdoor activities, then don't forget to visit the French Alps. There are great opportunities for skiers in the winter, with over 200 different resorts catering to the French Alps activities. Snow activities are not the only thing you can do on your visit to the French Alps. In the summer, there are plenty of opportunities to hike, raft, and go mountain biking. In all, there are three national parks and four regional parks that are showcased on your trip to the Alps.

The things i described in this article are just the tip of the ice berg, do some searching and I’m sure you can find plenty of fun things to do in France.
