Headshot Photography
Technology has narrowed the “final product delivery and expense” of headshot photography to hours instead of weeks at very reasonable rates.
Headshots are the “photo of choice” for many business professionals and are also the bread and butter for models and aspiring actors and actresses who want to put their public image in the best possible light. They capture the look, glance or nuance that the professional seeks to express to the world.
Advances in digital photography offers several options for headshot photography:
Professional Photographer: Experience is valuable as is the professional image. Many professionals offer a one hour sitting (approximately 30+ images of which 2 are selected). The selected images are than checked for exposure, color correction, cropping and basic retouch. Delivery of headshot prints along with a CD can be as prompt as the end of the session or up to several days. Cost varies depending on the experience of the professional.
Amateur Photographer: With the advances in digital cameras, even an amateur can deliver quality headshot photography along with prints and CD. Professional software and printers allow even the novice to check for exposure, color correction, cropping, basic retouch and print TOP quality images. And they can be delivered instantly, or the CD can be taken to the local Photo Shop to be processed in less than an hour at very reasonable rates.
Headshots are the professional’s image to the world. With today’s technological advances, they don’t have to break the budget, but they must be professional quality.

Help connecting multiple components with tv
By: Need Help | 14-07-2008
I have an LG flat panel TV, and 3 components hooked to it: DirecTV DVR Reciever, a Sony DVD Surround Sound /speakers and a Phillips DVD Recorder. I was instructed on the connection of all of my components and everything works great- but my DVD recorder. I wanted to be able to make DVD recordings from my DirecTV DVR recordings. Here are my connections: DirecTV: HDMI to TV (HDMI1), AV Red & White to DVD Surround Sound, AV Red,White Yellow to DVD Recorder DVD Surround Sound: HDMI to TV (HDMI2) The power is there to the Phillips DVD Recorder, but the remote will not work and I have changed the Input on my TV to Component 1 and nothing will work. It seems like there should be something connected to the TV? Do I need a 3rd HDMI cord to go to the HDMI 3 slot on my TV? Then how would I play a movie from my DirecTV and record it with the recorder?
