Today's personal photo scanners let you scan virtually anything. It takes a couple of clicks to scan an object .Something will not scan perfectly or as you like. But it may need only some artistic value adds to the scan. A scanner can be uses for more than just scanning documents and paper. There are neat and fun thing you can do with a home photo scanner  and there are some practical reasons for using a scanner to.

Create a database for all your valuable picture when you need to have for your insurance adjuster because of a fire or a theft. You can make a data base by combing photos and your p.c this way you have a complet record of valuabe property. Having a picture of a valuable item that is lost can be very useful for settling disagreements.

That will make your work easier there are several programs out there to mange those documents. Those programs are called document management programs and let you store black and white or color documents.

You can have a lote of fun doing projects when the weather is bad outside. You can get creative with a digital camera. Photo image editors let you put their pictures on magazine, Mount Rushmore or in crazy images.

 You can print out mini stickers if you like. Have some fun making an image and putting it on a t-shirts, mugs and a lot more. It is a great way to show off your images. There are program that have designs for iron on transfer paper and editing tool to put your image onto a t-shirt.

The process is very easy to use. Simply drag your image onto the drag here box and click the item that you won't to affix to your image.Scan your magazine, newspaper articles that you what to keep. Magazine and newspaper usually have better quality then a photocopy of the same article.

Then you can add the article to a letter by importing it to your word document. Newsprint fades and magazines get lost or thrown away. Scan the article and save it this is a great way to keep copies of important news stories.

Flatbed photo Scanner are very useful for kids they can do reports with a pictures. You can improve a term paper or other report by adding a picture to emphasize the text or subject.

Scanners can also do color images from a slide, negative or an actual photograph. All three change color over time even if they are stored in a dark place and they will change their colors with a yellowish haze over the image. A digital scanner can save and enhance those images and make the photo look like it was just recently taken.

    ALL scanners out there today are fully automatic That give you a quick and easy way to scan an image .The image is not always the best scans but for optimum scan you should not use the automatic feature. Scanners today are smart and do most of the work for you so you can be more creative
