straight off the proposals should be totally positive- do not say 'I won't feel concerned while talking in public,' say 'I will feel relaxed and comfortable when talking in public.' Remember that your affirmations and suggestions are engineered to remove negative patterns of thought and replace them with positive ones. To say 'I will not feel depressed about this' is to allow the possibility that you might feel depressed!
Also, your unconscious idea should always be in the first person, put simply 'I' or 'me' vs 'you.' This recommendation needs to be accepted by your subconscious as a thought you are having for yourself and choosing to take on, not an idea that some other person is endorsing to you. This, if you think about it, is just common sense- if someone asserts to you 'you're going to feel better' this doesn't do anything whatsoever. If you can think it for yourself, then you are much more likely to feel it for yourself.
finally, ensure that your suggestions are in the present tense. Remember that what you are attempting to do is forming a new pattern of boost self esteem, laying down habits and perspectives which can then be carried forward into the future.
