Cold Sore Cure the Permanent and Natural Way

Herpes Simplex, commonly referred to as cold sore, is a disease difficult to cure permanently since no vaccine has been developed yet. It presents itself with a blister that later will form a crust that in turn will eventually heal in 3 days to 3 weeks.
It is transmitted by contact with an affected person and is usually linked to stress. Once a person becomes infected, he/she usually experiences recurrence of outbreaks, though with diminishing intensity, and also an immunity over time, which is good news.

However people may show different levels of severity in cold sore outbreaks, while others may have a weak immune system for a variety of reasons and find the way to freedom from cold sores a bit too long, unless they use antiviral drugs. Drugs and over the counter products do help to mask the symptoms and reduce the severity and frequency of outbreaks, but they fail to provide a permanent solution to the problem.
What they do is helping the immune system by reducing the replicating speed of the virus, but they don't kill it. Popular ointments try to create a local barrier to prevent the virus from entering into the skin, but only work partially so.

Again, there are no effective vaccines right now, and the few available are still on trial.
Of the natural treatments, lysine has proven the most effective so far as a general remedy and aloe vera makes the sore heal quicker. As a general rule, a combination of natural methods should be taken into account when dealing with Herpes Simplex, bearing in mind that life style and personal immune system have a say on the final results.

Prescription drugs and over the counter medications do not work, but with a proper program and a blueprint of inexpensive natural methods it is possible to get rid of cold sores once and for all. Cold sores have a negative impact on a person confidence due to the constant self conscious thoughts associated with this unsightly condition. Conversely, a permanent solution to cold sore would reassert confidence in the affected person and most importantly get rid of the virus for good.
