Cure Piles Naturally or Otherwise - Fast And Simple Pain Relief

Is there a way to cure piles naturally? It is estimated that 10% of the world's population suffers from some type of hemorrhoids. Piles are internal hemorrhoids and they, like all other hemorrhoids, tend to give you problems more frequently than you have time or patience for.

Even though these are internal, they can become quite enlarged during some episodes and when this occurs they can become prolapsed. This simply means they have swollen so large that they now protrude. Typically, if left alone, they will go back to normal and heal on their own. If you don't want to wait, and who does, there are very effective remedies you can try at home.

If you want to cure piles naturally, you will want to look at the food you eat. As the sayings go, prevention is better than cure. And the best prevention is by eating the right food. More water, fiber, vegetables and fruits help can help.

No matter how bad the pain is, try a pain reliever first. These usually provide the fastest relief and the longest lasting results, although it is still considered to be a short term therapy. Pain relievers won't do much other than make you feel better. However, don't overdose! High concentrations of these drugs can lead to multiple organ failure and, frankly, the trade off just isn't worth it.

Next, try a cream specifically made for the treatment of hemorrhoids. These will numb the area as well as help shrink the offending tissues. Look for one that has the application device included. If you don't have this on hand, then look for an oral numbing agent (even a children's teething solution would be fine) in your medicine cabinet. Application might be a bit tricky, but try using a few cotton swabs inserted rectally.

Preventing flare-ups is just as important as dealing with them as they occur. One of the inherent problems with piles, or any type of hemorrhoid, is that over time the tissues become weaker. Since constipation is the probable cause, you need to reduce your level of constipation in order to reduce your painful flare-ups. Add fiber, water, vegetables, and watch the improvement.

As a last resort you may need to discuss more permanent surgical options with your doctor. Whatever pain and downtime you need to cope with will be worth it in the long run.
