Genital Herpes is highly contagious. You can infect your sexual partner even if you do not have any blisters on your genitals. And even if it has not been an option for you up to this point in your life...it may be worth considering as a future guarantee that you will not be infected with genital herpes or any other sexually transmitted disease.
If you choose to remain sexually active and stray from your resolve to use condoms (even once), then do what you have to do to ensure that your body can fight off infection.
