Gout- The 3 Step Guide To Help Cure Gout Gout And Feel Much Better In As Little As A Few Hours
Gout, historically known as " the rich man's disease," is an awfully painful condition to acquire. This condition occurs due to high uric acid levels in the body causing inflammation in one or more joints. There are many factors as to what exactly causes gout, but most every doctor agrees that diet and genetics are often the source. Red meat, alcohol ( particularly beer), seafood, and fructose sweetened drinks are some examples of what may cause gout.
Last month for the first time in my life I got gout. Of course during the holiday season we are faced with a lot of great food and a lot of alcohol. I woke up one day to feel a slight tenderness in my left ankle. 12 hours later it was extremely swelled up and hurt so bad I could barely walk. Right away I hit to the Internet to do research on what the causes and cures might be.
As I read through several different websites I began to understand why this awfully painful condition was brought upon me. The answer is simple, it was me not taking care of myself properly.
I would like to share some techniques I used to cure my gout with home remedies.
1) The first step is you need to remove anything purine-rich. this includes beer (alcohol), red meet, shellfish, salmon, turkey, etc....
2) Stick to a low purine diet. examples include fresh cherries, strawberries, blueberries, celery, tomatoes, red cabbage, red bell pepper, potatoes, mandarins, oranges. It is also recommended to drink no less than eight glasses of purified water or fruit juices per day. In my opinion you should stick to natural organic black cherry juice due to its high potency of vitamin C which has been proven to fight off symptoms of gout.
3) The next step in my opinion is the quickest cure for gout pain. Take 1/4th teaspoon four times a day of baking soda. Also three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar preferably organic per day (three times a day).
This of course is the 100% natural way of helping cure or your gout. It is also suggested to take ibuprofen to help fight the pain if needed (Advil, Motrin). Although this will definitely help with the pain, it will not cure your gout problem.
