The acute and chronic conditions that affect the heart are termed as heart diseases. Heart diseases are also the main reason for disability. The main cause of death is found to be the heart diseases in United States, Canada, England and Wales.
Heart is the main part of the body which supplies blood to all other organs of the body. Any single failure in the heart affects all the other parts of the body and not heart alone. Heart diseases can be classified into eight categories namely coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, cardio vascular disease, Ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, Inflammatory heart disease and valvular heart disease
Most often heart diseases are caused due to the use of alcohol, bacterial infection, viral infection, smoking, hypertension, high blood pressure, diabetes, high saturation of fat and cholesterol, use of cocaine, thyroid dysfunction, depression and etc. The very common and much felt symptom of a heart disease is the chest pain. A heavy feeling in the chest, any discomfort and aching in the chest are symptoms of developing a cardiac disease. Some people even feel burning like sensation in their chest which is also a symptom of a heart disease. Further, there might be difficulties in breathing and a lethargic feeling can be observed. Irregular palpitations and high heart beat are also prior symptoms of an acute heart condition. Some people might feel dizzy and unusual sweating. These symptoms can last long which would alarm you of developing a heart disease.
Heart diseases can be avoided when you maintain the rate of blood pressure through a proper exercise and medication, lowering your cholesterol with a proper diet control, and keeping away from smoking can be the best methodologies to prevent yourself from developing a heart disease.
