3.  Exercise.  This is very important when you are on a blood pressure reduction program.  Walking is a good choice.  Simply walking for 20 minutes a day will make a difference.

4.  Herbs.  There are several herbal supplements that are as effective as prescription drugs for maintaining a normal reading.  An added benefit - herbs do treat the underlying cause of your condition.

This is just a very short list of steps you can take to lower your readings using natural methods.

It is a very smart decision to make if you decide to try natural cures for your high blood pressure.  Not only will you be treating your hypertension, your total health will also improve.  You will notice a substantial difference in cholesterol and diabetes symptoms.
