Interstitial Cystitis - A painful ailment that's incurable

Patients infected with interstitial cystitis face several problems. It's damn difficult to live with the painful symptoms. One can't conduct everyday activities in such a situation. The intensity of pain varies from time to time. Sometime, it's bearable while sometime it is highly irritating. The condition is repeatedly seen among women. It gets worse during menstruation or sexual intercourse.

During the interstitial cystitis, the bladder gets irritated or scarred. It also leads to bleeding while passing the urine. Some people can't hold the urine and pass urine in short intervals. These people also notice severe pain in the lower abdomen. Some people also suffer from bet time wetting known as nocturia. This phenomenon is mainly found among women due to their physical anatomy.

The researchers are trying to find the cause behind the painful cystitis. Some doctors relate it with bladder infections or stones. However, the tests don't reveal the presence of bacterial microbes in the urinary tract. The urinary tract of the patient with IC has a substance that restricts the growth of cells that reside inside the bladder walls.

Hence, the doctor recommends numerous tests to detect the painful syndrome. Most of the tests don't reveal any information about the diseases. Moreover, it is highly disheartening to hear that the disease is incurable. The patient with this ailment suffers from depression as well as pain associated with the interstitial cystitis.

However, the negative energy worsens the situation. So, have a positive outlook. Go for regular medical checkups and speak about your worries. Don't hide any symptoms, otherwise it might aggravate to irreparable levels. You can also take painkillers like aspirin and ibuprofen to get relief from urinary pain. Consult the doctor as soon as the pain intensifies.

So, fight the disease with extreme will-power and take adequate diet so that your body withstands the painful condition.
