The Secret Epidemic

In this new world of increasing public display of gratuitous display of nudity and sexual behavior on TV, movies, magazines, and even in our schools its no surprise there is a huge rise in sexually transmitted diseases. Our children see this and think it's not only OK but how things work in real life. On TV there favorite stars and music stars are idealized using there body's to sell albums and dvds instead of relying on real talent.

Why though has there been little press on this subject since its such obvious a connection? Could we be so socially involved with our own conservatism that we don't allow our selves to see these issues even though there right under are noses and in our homes?

Since its been well documented that Std's are on the rise and are effecting more than one quarter of our population you would think there would be some kind of state of emergency declared or at least a government action of some kind.

The truth is our society will not allow it to be published and would rather look the other way as our world is slowly destroying itself with no help from anyone or any organization. Certain Std's have been found out to not even be prevented with proper condom use and schools and clinics still don't bother to mention it.

In conclusion We need to turn this around and make a difference in our great country and start the uphill battle in making our world safe for our children and our children's children.
