Tips To Avoid The Swine Flu

Many people are concerned about the current scare of getting the swine flu.  The virus is spreading from human to human and has been proven to be deadly for many in Mexico. Prevention in “catching” the swine flu is similar following the same steps in preventing you from catching the common cold or flu.  By applying the following tips, you can reduce your risk in catching the swine flu.

Eat Nutritiously and Avoid Sugar
Quality food helps keep your immune system strong and your cells healthy. Food not only provides energy to your body, but all the nutrients that are essential for a healthy body.
Consuming sugar harms your health and has no nutritious value at all. Just a small amount of sugar has been proven to impair white blood cells up to 50% for very short periods of time, making it more challenging to fight other foreign dangerous invaders

Keep Your Hands Clean
In order to limit the risk of "catching the swine flu" or any other infectious disease, you simply must wash your hands.  I know it sounds simple but maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene care is one of the most effective ways of avoiding infection and keeping you from getting sick.   The biblical record clearly indicates that diseases are communicable and that the best protection against them is to prevent their spread.

Cleanse Your Body Internally
A body detox is essential in preventing you from catching any disease or getting sick. Toxic build up that has formed in our intestines (colon) stresses our immune system and will make it harder to deal with other potentially dangerous viruses.

When your body lacks sufficient amounts of water, you may experience headaches, fatigue, dry skin, and other harsh symptons. This will also challenge your body in fighting against disease. Without water, our vital organs may shut down because of severe dehydration.  This may also lead to death.

Get Proper Sleep Daily
During deep sleep, our body release potent immune-enhancing substances that strengthen your immune system function. When our bodies do not get enough sleep, your immune system will not operate at full capacity. We then are more likely to become ill with common illnesses. A healthy, deep sleep allows our body to release a significant amount of growth hormone that boost immune system and aids in the growth and repair of the body.

When you strengthen your immune system naturally, and follow these common sense tips of prevention, you will reduce the risk of getting the swine flu.
