The most common way people are treating their yeast infections today is to apply ample amounts of anti fungal creams and take supplements to get the body’s bacteria levels back to normal. These treatments work, if all you are looking for is something temporary. Of course, you want your infection to be completely eradicated, not simply pushed back a little only to return again. This is essential in ridding your body of the infection and returning to comfortable good health.
Along with a healthy diet, including vitamin C supplements is a great way to reduce the risk of yeast infections. While some prefer to get vitamin C from natural resources like orange juice and other fruit, such sources are sugary and will not help in this instance. Instead, either take supplements or use the vegetable sources of vitamin C like broccoli, peppers, green cabbage and Brussels sprouts. The reason why this vitamin is particularly important is because it is a powerful antioxidant, meaning it kills fungus and will provide you with faster relief from your condition.
