Insulating Foam Spray

Posted: Nov 02, 2009 | Comments: 0 | Views: 51 | Bookmark and Share

Insulating foam spray is a convenient method of making sure your roof is correctly insulated, saving you money on your heating bills and protecting your roof from any unwanted damage.

If you are currently experiencing roof problems such as leaks, slipped or missing tiles or if your roof is insufficiently insulated then insulating foam spray could be the answer you’ve been looking for.

The insulating foam spray works by coating the underside of your roof, covering battens, but not the joists, rafters or purlins. Once applied the insulating foam spray conforms to BS476 part 7 to give a class 1 surface flame spread, making it totally safe for all internal components and fixtures.

Insulating foam spray is used for a whole range of reasons and is currently the first choice for many people who are looking to correctly insulate their roofs. Insulating foam spray stabilises the existing roof and prevents future slippage or movement of slates or tiles and creates a waterproof lining that prevents the ingress of wind, rain and snow and transforms your cold, damp, draughty loft space into a warm, dry, clean, useable room and makes freezing plumbing, leaking roofs and other roof problems a thing of the past.

RoofSURE have been applying insulating foam spray in premises all over the UK for over 20 years, and no company has a better track record with local authorities.

The RoofSURE insulating foam spray system is only applied by BUFCA (British Urethane Foam Contractors Association) accredited installers and due to the specialised nature of traditionally constructed roofs, all insulating foam spray installers have a specialised remedial team, and an experienced roofer as part of the installation team.

The entire installation of the insulating foam spray system is carried out within one or two days and guarantees no disruption to you. Once the insulating foam spray has been applied, it is guaranteed to be maintenance free for 30 years.

If you are experiencing roof problems or think your roof could benefit from an application of insulating foam spray speak to RoofSURE and they’ll provide you with a free no obligation survey.

Insulation is the phenomenon of reducing the flow of heat, electricity or sound between the inner space and outer space of an object. Insulation can be used both to prevent heat gain and from heat loss to the surrounding areas. Most electric appliances use insulation technology like Refrigerators, freezers and Heaters. One of the main applications of insulation is house insulation. An insulated home is more energy efficient, requires less maintenance and is more comfortable, as the temperature remains uniform over weather changes.
