These days in homes, solar energy has several of cost-effective and practical applications like the solar energy history goes. An ideal addition is solar cookers to any kitchen when there are more hours of sun in most of the days in a year. Solar baking and cooking is easy. They are safe when children are around and offer the best method of learning use and about solar energy. These cookers are non-polluting, convenient, and easy and clean on the environment. Solar cookers can save lives literally as it already did looking at the solar energy history for people living in fuel-scarce, arid regions of the world.

Today, solar power has several of cost-effective and practical application. The system of solar pool heating heats the water in the pool for extending the season of swimming and eliminating the costs of pool heating. A solar hot water heater replaces the current conventional water heaters and can be paired easily with radiant panel flooring that reduces the bills of utility. Photovoltaic cells are solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity directly and used for satisfying all the requirements of electricity of a home.

At domestic level, the solar energy use will result in lowering the demand of evening peak and will also reduce the electricity deficit. Hence, when we get much sunshine, home solar power makes much sense, just like it did for the whole solar energy history. In few of the countries that get much sunshine and it never gets below at least 78 percent of the available hours, the solar system in houses are installed in their buildings to make best and maximum use of solar energy.  In later years, an increased use of solar power in homes can be expected.
