I like writing poems, essays and stories. Though i have not published them in a book, but i have published them in various websites. I like to participate in many literary competitions. I believe in dreaming and achieving. I am not an atheist.
Always, bonded-handy books will catch our eyes than any other ones. Books that can be held in our hands give us a friendly feeling and give us an interesting feeling towards reading. We can carry the books and read it according to our mind and pleasure. We can even read them while traveling or before taking a nap.
But the modern e-books have no such priority among people though it is convenient because of its memory and attractive fonts. One can read the book with pleasure but when considering an e-book, it’s not possible because it cannot be held in a hand like a book. It cannot be bended to give comfort reading. It can damage our eyes, after reading them for a long time. It can cause had ache too. But a book doesn’t cause bad effects to one’s eyes.
One can smell the fresh print of a book, which gives us some sense of joy. But it’s not applicable to an e-book. One feels happy when one turns the pages and senses the article interesting, as it goes to the climax part of the book. But, in an e-book the turning of pages has no effect and it doesn’t bring an interest in reading the whole article.
The bonded books with its summary at the back and a beautiful cover page help a person to select the book. But in the case of an e-book, there occurs no chance of that. An e-book can be popular but the usage of handy books will never increase.
Books help people to mark their happy moments in diaries, planners etc… Though e-books started to rule over the diaries and year planners, there occurs happiness to people when they receive diaries in the New Year.
One can’t substitute old things by new things, but the chances of that substitution to attract the people are very less sometimes.
So, as the wise says, “Old is gold”
