The Steganographick Collection is a very interesting document in itself. But also the other famous works called The Hypnertomachia Poliphilia and the later published Chemical Wedding are particularly fascinating.
At the most important and significant thrilling moment of the both works – Chemical Wedding and Stenographic Collection is the chain of the strange and amazing coincidences which could not be just accidental. These similarities are:
-in both works the main characters are disjointed with the companions and take a travel with the page (Nephes) as an escort.
-in the CW the alter with the ever combustion tree is fed by own fruit; in the SC the tree is fed by its own branches.
-in the CW there is a symbol of love – Venus and in the SC there is also symbol of - the hope of Olocliree.
-it is obvious that the authors of the both works – CW, edited in France in 1600 and SC, published in 1616 in Germany, had used the same mythology in the works. The both works are related to the alchemy, but no other alchemical works except of these contain the same symbols and myths. The question is how could the two different authors to invent and to use the same elements. The period of time between the publications is sixteen years and it can cause the supposition that the authors had common friends or met with each other or were a members of the same ritual group and there developed the same approaches and the views on similar events. But may be the authors had some other connection or obviously the author is the same person.
The one more thing must be mentioned that the main mythology of the Chemical Wedding was published in Paris 16 years previously. But all mentioned facts help only to create the suppositions, because the explanations of the amazing coincidence was not still founded.

Helen Van Pelt Wilson
By: MattDiClemente | 23-06-2008
Does anyone have biographical information on Helen Van Pelt Wilson, the noted 20th Centry American Garden Writer? I know that she was born towards the turn of the century and grew up in Moorestown, an old South Jersey Quaker town. She was at least once married to a Ralph Umstead, and resided and gardened in Germantown, which was then a pleasant suburb of Philadelphia. Here she wrote "Perrenials Preffered" in the 1940's. In the late 50's she removed to New York City, and then purchased a home in Westport Conn., there after named "Stony Brook Cottage" Here she wrote "The Fragrant Year" and "Helen Van Pelt Wilson's Own Garden..." Stoneybrook was faced on one side by a brook that flowed into the nearby Long Island Sound.Later in life, surprising to many readers she left her beloved place, and took up residence in a suburban home, also in West Port. Here she penned "Color for your Winter Garden..."in 1978. This is the last book lenght work I have been able to obtain by H.V.P.W. By this time she was already know for having written 20 books, edited many others, and authored innumerable magazine and periodical articles. She wrote with grace, and a philosopher's wit. It was made known to me, that around 2004, Helen Van Pelt Wilson died at the age of 102, presumably still in Westport. Does anyone have information on her early life? Her early years at Stoneybrook? Her later years - 80's -2000's? Her friends, and family whom she mentions in her work? Did anyone ever meet her, or hear her speak in person.Any (legitimate) information would be greatly appreciated.Thank-you!Sincerely,Matt Di ClementeBrick, New Jersey
