Are you getting traffic to your website? Is that traffic translating into profits? Frequently, people will seek out any type of traffic thinking that any traffic is good traffic. Unfortunately, that is not the case. An associate recently had 4200 visitors in one day and made just $1.76. That represents about 4 one hundreds of a cent per visitor. It is obvious that the traffic she attracted had absolutely no interest in anything she offered.
If you are serious about wanting to start making money online, you need targeted traffic coming to your site. The kind that comes to your website because they are interested in the type of content that you specialize in. The kind that will click on your links and buy your products. That is the kind of traffic you want.
One of the best ways to attract targeted traffic is through article marketing. If you are just beginning your Internet career and want to start making money online, I recommend that you consider writing articles as part of your marketing strategy. It is not a get rich quick plan; it is a long-term business plan that will bring you targeted traffic and income day after day, month after month, and year after year.
On average, I would estimate that for every article that you write, you will generate about 10 page views per month. That may not seem like a lot. But if you write one article every day, you would have about 3600 visitors per month at the end of the year. If you write 2 articles per day, you would get about 7000 visitors per month.
The advantage to this method is that it doesn’t stop. If you go away for a 4-week vacation, your visitors would continue to come to your site every day. In fact, I have had some of my best months when I’ve been away.
With almost any other marketing technique, when you are away, you do little or no business. That is the big benefit of writing articles. If I have to go out of town for a day or two, my business continues as thought I’m in the office working hard.
So, if you want to start making money with targeted traffic, consider writing articles. It will pay you big dividends even when you are NOT on vacation.
